Armour of God series (Ephesians 6:10-20)

Hello, Sojourn!

We’re excited to share a new set of recordings from the brand new Grace in the Journey podcast with our church family.

(By way of background, Phil had originally recorded these devotionals for one of our members, Ron, and Ron encouraged us to share them with the wider church family as well. Kylah used an online service to transcribe these talks for us.)

This series walks through the armour of God from Ephesians 6:10-20, helping us see how the Lord strengthens his people to stand firm in the midst of spiritual battle, suffering, temptation, discouragement, and everyday faithfulness. These short devotional recordings (7-9 minutes) are meant to encourage you to fix your eyes on Christ, rest in his grace, and learn what it means to walk daily in the strength that God supplies.

Whether you listen on your commute, during a walk, with your family, or in a quiet moment before the Lord, our prayer is that these reflections would help you “be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might” (Eph. 6:10).

We encourage you to read this with an open Bible (unless you’re driving!) and to take a few minutes to pray in response. Just respond to the Lord—thank him, praise him, and ask him for things—based on what you’ve learned and what his Holy Spirit is speaking to you right now.
